I straight transcribe an average of 180-190 lph. I've been doing transcription for 20+ years and have never used an expander program (such as Instant Text or Shorthand), except for what one can create with the Auto Text/Auto Correct functions in Word.
How can you access it to put in new expansions/macros and NOT download jobs? I hope this isn't too dumb of a question, but I'm getting desperate (. Hi there! I'm new to MQ and have a question about the built in work expander program. In ASR, do you have to weed through the whole paragraph, or can you use your expander? If you can use your expansion, what do you do with the ASR paragraph?. The dictator says the same paragraph every time. My MQ expander file is quite large and years in the making. ĭoes anybody know if the DocQscribe expander can transfer between different MTSOs? I recently got a part-time job that is also on DQS platform and I don't want to have to start all over on my expanders at this new company. Has anyone else had this experience? Does anyone have luck with a different text expander with WebChart? TIA!. So frustrated right now! I have been using NCH's "FastFox" text expander for years now and I love it! I just got a new job that uses WebChart MD, and when Word opens up in WebChart, all my macros turn into "v." To make a long story short, the new version of Windows was put on a separate hard drive in the same computer, but for some reason when I would log into the old hard drive to use Speedtype it would say I no longer had a license and would have to purchase a replacement license.so I did.
Fastfox forum upgrade#
It worked fine and then we started having computer issues and my husband decided to upgrade to a newer version of Windows. I received Speedtype from the school I am going through to learn Medical Transcription. I use the autocorrect in MS WORD and like it pretty fine, except long statements do not go in and I cannot get the autotext to take them either. Anybody Heard Of FastFox Typing Expander? Opinions? Nm
